Natural Church Development Update

The Church Health Team of Natural Church Development has continued to reflect upon and discuss our minimum factor, “needs-oriented evangelism.”  The most recent qualitative goal set is, “to explore and encourage multifaceted communication techniques to promote and celebrate the mission and ministry of St. John’s UMC.”  The team  referred the goal to the Evangelism Ministry Group who responded favorably by requesting the development of a Communications Team.

As the Communications Team is being formed, please pray for team members to have an “eye” for who St. John’s is with her many missions and ministries, and that the gospel message of Jesus Christ be effectively communicated within the church family as well as into the community and the world.  While you’re praying, ask God to place you in service in the church where your special gift may be used to glorify God.  Don’t know what your gift is?  Listen carefully…the answer is somewhere nearby as God calls each of us to service.
