The peace of Christ be with you!
Recently I had a heat pump installed in my 1940’s house in Marietta. The work crew came early in the morning with four large panel trucks and about six men who worked all through the day on the project. They did the work with great precision and care as though they were working on their own home. Soon the work was completed, and even though it had been a complicated job, their work had been accomplished in a near perfect fashion.
I couldn’t help but think how great it would be if everything in life could be handled with such ease and expertise. But life is much messier than a new heat pump. We try to handle every situation that arises with all of the care and ability that we can, but many times we simply can’t make all of the pieces fit neatly together.
Right at that moment, we are reminded that Christ has all of the tools that are necessary for any problem and any situation. Right at that moment, we realize that our Savior is at hand for all of our needs.
Thank you, Lord, for all that you do!
God Bless,
Dan
